Writing your Blog.

In the blue band of the Dashboard, you can choose “Write”, then either write post, or write page. Pages stay the same once they’ve been written, posts move down your main blog page as you write new posts. You have two choices when writing the page content, “visual” which is similar to most word processors, or code which gives you a few more options. You can bold words by selecting them and clicking “b”, italicize, block quote, delete, insert,insert an image like thislogo
and create lists

To insert an image you’ll need to know the image name and location. If the image is on your computer desktop, you need to scroll down to the lower part of the “write post” page to the upload section. Click the “browse” button and select the image file. Give it a title and description, then click “upload”. Then place it in the editor.

Linking to other sites can be done by going to the “code” part of the write page. Click “link” which will give you a box to enter the site URL, when the URL is entered, click “OK” and the address will be imported to your editing space. Type the text you’d like to use for linking, like SITE NAME, then click the /link button. You can do the same thing with the other options.

On your write page, you will also see an “All in One SEO Pack” section. You should try to use this by providing a Title, Keywords and Description for each of your posts. You won’t see this on your posts but it allows search engines to understand what your individual posts are about.
